Our 3 year old!

Well yesterday was Ryan's birthday and it is hard to believe that he is three! I am amazed at how fast time goes and grown up he is.

We celebrated all day with him as Matt had the day off of work. Ryan got to pick the menu as well as what we did. We had pancakes for breakfast, he got to wear his pirate costume all day, we had McDonald's for lunch, took naps, had pizza for dinner, and then had a small party with some of Ryan's cousins and grandparents. It really was a fun day.

I made him a pirate ship cake because he LOVES pirate stuff right now.
Our little pirate and his boat!

So excited for his Mac trailer! I wish you could see his face! (the striped sash is part of his costume and he wouldn't take it off!)
New jammies!
Showing off his new spurs from his grandpa

Trying to blow out the candles...it took him a few tries

He got a lot of cool stuff and tons of clothes (which I am thankful for because he needs them!). Thanks for all of the gifts everyone!

Ryan is such a fun little boy.  I have posted some of his Ryanisms before so you all know what kind of personality he has. Here are a few things about our little man that I don't want to forget:

He loves baseball (and anything else involving a ball) and has a near perfect swing.

He has been 100% potty trained for a few month now (no pull-ups at night anymore)

His favorite toys right now are his Mac truck from the movie Cars, his little action figures, and any kind of ball.

He can ride a bike with training wheels.

His favorite foods are raw carrots and broccoli in ranch dip, pizza, chocolate milk, any kind of pasta, grapes, and toast with jam on it.He also loves having cookies and milk before bed with his dad.

When he likes something we are eating he will say, "This is really yummy dinner mom."

He has figured out smells and will say things like, "I smell yummy dinner!"

He is constantly talking about going into the mountains and "shooting that bear" (I have no idea where this came from)

His favorite movies are The Rookie, Rescuers Down Under, Where the Red Fern Grows, Robin Hood, and Fox and the Hound

He loves his sister and tells people to "Be nice to my baby sister!"

He hates peanut butter and will not touch anything that has peanut butter in it. You can't even give him a peanut butter cookie.

He loves going to nursery and his favorite songs are Old MacDonald and I am a Child of God.

Ryan has quite the temper and when he gets angry he will growl like a dinosaur at you really loud. This is also accompanied by a really red face and the phrase, "I'm not going to be your friend anymore!"

He is a sweet little boy and often says things like, "I love you so much daddy" or "I love you most"

We love you Ryan!

Lovin' the Fall!

Be prepared for a picture overload. We have had a busy month and I need to just get the pictures on here.

Adam and Noelle came to visit for a few days and we got to watch their little girls. We had a great time with almost the entire Allen family (sorry Bret and Jan).

Drew, Chelsea, and Brynn with a DIRTY face!

Adam, Noelle, Brynn, Matt, Ryan, and I, Drew (rockin' the hat) and Chelsea

Our Ryan!

They were so fun together!

Noelle and Addysen

Everyone on the 4-wheelers
Halle loves to feed herself but she also loves to make HUGE messes! I think she enjoyed her yogurt!

I went Elk hunting one night during the week and saw this amazing sunset. We didn't see any Elk but this was worth going!

Halle wore my mom's dress to church a few weeks ago. This is a dress that my mom wore 50 years ago. Halle looked adorable and received tons of comments on her "vintage" dress.

I love that it is officially Fall! Fall  is a really fun time of year and this year Ryan loved the pumpkin patch. We have actually been twice this week and he has been in Heaven. They had a huge area of corn. It was like a giant sandbox but it was filled with corn! They loved it!

Another Challenge!

This is by no means as intense as my 100 days of happiness challenge but a challenge that I need, desperately. Today I am going to attempt to start this 21 days to an organized house challenge. Each day is something new. By the end of the 21 days....my house should be 100% organized. I doubt I will post everyday but if any of you want to try it, feel free!

Here is the link.

Good Luck....Have Fun!
