"The cutest little boy..."

Ryan will be 3 months old on Friday and he is so much fun! He has really been a great baby. Of course he has his moments where we wonder how in the world he can scream that loud, but overall he is really happy! Last night Ryan was in such a cute mood. He was laughing and smiling at Matt for like 10 minutes. Of course he kind of quit once I got the camera out but it was so funny. I don't know who is cuter, Matt or Ryan. Matt has this high pitched voice that he talks to Ryan with and he absolutely loves it! We got a few laughs on video...try not to laugh at Matt too much...he is such a cute dad! I also added a few pictures of him (Ryan not Matt :)), he is growing so fast!

I think he is a little tired in this last one...so funny though!

Ryan's Blessing

Because all of my family was here from out of town, we decided that today was a good day to bless our little boy. All of my brothers were able to be here and help Matt bless Ryan. It really was a great day with all of our family. My grandparents from Boise made the trip too. Thanks everyone for making today so special for Ryan!

Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas this year. We were able to spend time with both of our families and still have our own little Christmas just the three of us. It was really a special year to have Christmas morning with our little family. Santa visited Ryan and it was really fun to experience that as parents even though he had no idea what was going on! He really got spoiled!!!! My entire family got to get together the day after Christmas as well. We are really blessed to have so much family so close to us!

Ryan was thrilled to open presents!

Smilin' Ryan!

It is so much fun watching our little boy grow up! He really loves to smile now and he absolutely loves the bath tub! Here are a few pictures of him over the past few weeks.

Thanksgiving and such...

Well Ryan is now 6 1/2 weeks old and the kid is a chunk! We have a lot of fun with him but he now weighs about 11 pounds and is 24 inches long. He is already wearing 3-6 month clothes too. He really has changed alot and is starting to smile. So much fun!!!!

For Thanksgiving Matt, Ryan, and I drove up to Boise to spend the holiday with my family. My mom and dad drove up from Alpine and Adam, Noelle, and Brynnley drove down from Spokane. This was the first time they had met Ryan so it was fun to see the two cousins together! We all stayed at my Grandma and Grandpa's house, it was so much fun! Drew actually had a game against Boise State on Saturday so we all got to see him as well. We are sorry that Bret and Jan couldn't make it but we all had a great time!
Ryan loves his Great Grandma! He was a little fussy while we were there and his grandma always calmed him down!
Ryan and Brynnley...she new that she was older :) They were really cute together
My grandma Allen gave both of the kids Christmas outfits so we dressed them up and took pictures for her. Ryan was not the happiest camper at this point.
These last two pictures are at Drew's basketball game. It is amazing how much Ryan loves the gym. He was wide awake almost the entire game. The picture below was his typical face throughout the game. He just stared at all the lights!

Way to go Drew!

My brother Drew has been playing basketball in Texas for the past few years and I have never really had the chance to watch him play. So, we were all really excited when he decided to come to Southern Utah University and play basketball. One of their first exhibition games was this past weekend so Matt and I decided to take Ryan down with my parents and Bret and Jan to watch the game. Drew had never met his nephew so he was pretty excited to see him. It was really fun to watch Drew and his team play, hopefully we will get to go to a few more games this season! Ryan did awesome on his first trip. He slept the entire way down, through the game, and the ride home. He woke up to eat a couple times but other than that he did great! We were all joking that he had the best seat in the car because the rest of us were squished!!!

Happy Halloween

For Halloween the three of us were able to spend some time with our families. It was Ryan's first big outing. He got to visit both sets of grandparents, help carve a pumpkin, and dress up like a Tiger. He did really well for his first time out and I have to say he turned out to be a pretty cute Tiger. Matt and I didn't dress up but decided if anyone asked we were simply dressed up as parents. I know, we were boring but hey that is the last thing I was worried about this week! So much work being cute!
