Today we had Ryan's 18 month check up. He is growing fast and I cannot believe that he is already a year and a half old. It is amazing how fast time goes. It seems so weird that he's no longer a baby and in a few months we will have another one! Crazy! He is such a fun little boy, we love everything about him.
Here are his stats:
Height: 34 1/2 inches (90%)
Weight: 24 pounds (20%)
Head Circumference: 49.2 cm (90&)
He's tall and skinny that is for sure. I don't think he has gained much weight in the past month or two but he is definitely getting taller. His uncle Drew is convinced that he is going to be a 6'5" shooting guard and his dad is convinced that he is going to be a left handed pitcher or a quarterback (we aren't even sure that he is left handed yet) I think the pitcher is a pretty good bet right now. He throws everything. The other day he threw a tennis ball from his car seat in the back while Matt was driving. The ball hit the windshield so hard it about hit Matt in the face and made it all the way back to Ryan. Funny they already have these plans for him...sorry Ryan you have no choice but to play sports!
Other than Ryan's size, he is an extremely happy boy and has the cutest personality! Matt and I are constantly laughing at him. He is talking pretty well and is starting to put two words together. His favorite things to say are: "more juice," "down stairs," "Cars Cars" (he thinks the cars on the movie Cars are called that), "Pam-pa," "shoes" (especially when he wants to go outside), "Annie" (our dog's name), "mommy," "Mam-ma," and "slide." He is so active and loves to be outside with his dad. We love you Ryan!
